The 2015 ASWIFTT Literary Visual & Performing Arts Awards Show

The awards recognition platform seeks to recognize and appreciate its members for their works, publications, community involvement and contributions in the Literary, Visual, & Performing Arts. ASWIFTT Award categories range from Education, Global Outreach,Transitional Figure & More.
Winners will have the opportunity to call in to give a 2 minute acceptance speech. They will also receive their awards and prizes in the mail.
ASWIFTT is for the author, artist, playwright, movie producer, director, journalist, etc. who has the talent to put pen or brush to paper to create a unique & valuable piece of work. ASWIFTT is always looking for new talents to enhance the Literary, Visual & Performing Arts.
The Mission of ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild is to mentor, support & help develop guild members in their chosen craft. ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild plays a key role in helping guild members to discover & use their God given talents to impact the world.

Merry Christmas!
ASWIFTT RADIO Host Brenda Johnson Padgitt and the ASWIFTT Family want to wish you a Merry Christmas. As we continue to celebrate this holiday season let’s remember “Jesus Is The Reason For The Season!” It is because of HIM we can live an abundant life, our sins are forgiven and we have been set free. John 10:10 says “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 20:31 also says “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” Be blessed as you continue to serve HIM.
I also want to take a moment to wish my oldest daughter Diamond a Happy Birthday. She was given to me on Christmas Day in 1996. I remember it like it was yesterday. Today she is 17 and is growing up to be a beautiful young lady.
As you continue through your day please take a moment to pray, thank God and contemplate on what HE has done for you throughout the year of 2013. HE has kept you in your right mind, HE has made provisions for you, HE has blessed you and your family. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Our children are fighting the invisible fight everyday against an invisible enemy they are not equipped or experienced to fight. The enemy continues to come at them with tactics of illiteracy, high school drop outs, teen pregnancy, bullying, gangs, teen violence, guns, racism, promiscuity, AIDS, orphan hood, and children of divorced parents, sibling rivalry, broken parent and child relationships, fatherless and motherless children and more. But YOU know how to fight and win. YOU have proven it!

ASWIFTT RADIO Host Brenda Johnson Padgitt was on the scene to interview event supporters at the ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Book Signing 2013 at the Carrollton Public Library located at 1700 Keller Springs Road in Carrollton, Texas. ASWIFTT RADIO Host caught up with Nechell Jennings, Nkiche Konwe and Kamille Padgitt to get their commentary about the ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Book Signing Event.
ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild celebrated it’s Literary, Visual and Performing Arts Guild Members on January 19, 2013 at the Carrollton Public Library from 1pm to 3pm CST. Those who came out to support the event enjoyed a hearty welcome from our ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Jr. Members, excerpts read by authors from their books, Video footage from “The Prayer of a Righteous Seed” which is a short film produced and published by Eunice Bridges, the ASWIFTT Book Signing 2013 Video, refreshments and getting their books signed by their favorite authors.
