It is no secret that today we are living during a time of unrest, racial injustice, war, police brutality, social and economic inequalities, a rise in the suicide rate and the list goes on and on. We are challenged daily to pray, believe that things will get better and hold on to our faith. Many rely on God to make sense of the chaos while others are on the verge of giving up hope. Life is a journey with ups and downs, hills and valleys, success and disappointments.

with Pastor Adrian Simmons about how to hold on to your faith when all hell breaks loose. The discussion will encourage and offer practical suggestions while coming from scripture. There will be times when life gets hard and our circumstances are magnified. The enemy has a way of making things seem more drastic than they really are. The famous acronym FEAR means False Evidence Appearing REAL is the best example that demonstrates how Satan attempts to disturb and frustrate us. The enemy wants us to believe temporary circumstances are permanent. He ultimately wants us to suffer despair and lose all hope.
1 Peter 5:8 tells us to Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. John 10:10 reveals the enemy’s purpose and why Jesus came. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The daily life we live is not always easy. We will face trials and tribulations. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19) We must never forget that we are born with a purpose. It is up to us to find our purpose and seek God on how to fulfill it. We must live out our lives according to God’s principles which are in the BIBLE.
