The “Celebrating Black History: Past & Present” Show will feature African- Americans who have made an impact in Black History as well as U.S. History. The show will start with present African-American Icons who are now making a difference. Our most recent trend setter is President Barack Obama. We will take a look at his biography and his road to becoming president. We will also look at present icons such as Lawrence Douglas Wilder, Oprah Winfrey, Comer Cottrell, Maya Angelo, & John Johnson. We will also take a look at Past African-American Icons such as Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Madame C.J. Walker, Shirley Chisholm, Thurgood Marshall, & Mary McLeod Bethune.   Help me pay tribute to our African Americans who have unselfishly given their lives, time and talents to help the betterment of our world. SAVE THE DATE!  February 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.  We would love to get your feedback on any of our shows.  E-mail us at aswifttradio@aswifttwritersguild.com or call us direct off air at 1-866-302-0508 ext. 3030 to speak with our ASWIFTT RADIO host Brenda Johnson Padgitt.  Join Brenda Johnson Padgitt online at www.blogtalkradio.com/aswifttradio  or www.aswifttwritersguild.com and click on ASWIFTT RADIO on February 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m
